The houseparty leadership team is drawn from a range of backgrounds, ages and professions. Most have been on the houseparty as teenagers or helpers so they know what’s involved, and their Christian faith has grown through houseparty.

All volunteers are subject to stringent checks, in line with the Houseparty’s Safeguarding Policy, and in conjunction with the safeguarding organisation, 31:8. Each holiday has its own team, though some leaders serve on both holidays. 

We work hard to ensure that every camper has the best time possible - having lots of fun in a safe way, whilst learning more about God. We welcome leaders who love Jesus, care about helping young people explore their faith, and are involved in their local church.

All leaders receive training before the holiday, and are DBS checked, with regular references taken, including from their church leader. 

As well as giving their time, leaders also contribute towards the costs of the holiday, in order to keep the cost as low as possible for the young people attending. we are very grateful for all our leaders and trustees who give their time and money to support the houseparty.
